Sruthi Praveen Kumar Geetha is a highly motivated and proactive Master's student at the University of California, San Diego, pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specific interest in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. She is a fast learner and quick to adapt to new technologies. Sruthi has experience working as a Software Engineer Intern at PickTrace, a SaaS product firm focusing on workforce and harvest management solutions for enterprise farms, where she gained hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, primarily on React, Golang, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform. Sruthi received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NIT Calicut in 2019 and subsequently worked as a Senior Quality Engineer for two years at Larsen and Toubro Infotech (LTI), an information technology services and consulting company in Pune. While working at LTI, she accumulated a robust knowledge of automation testing frameworks like Selenium and UFT, following Agile methodology. After working for almost two years at LTI, she decided to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science to switch to a Software Development role. Sruthi is familiar with a variety of programming languages, including Java, C, Python, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ruby, jQuery, and AngularJS, and she is always adding new skills to her repertoire. She has worked on 12 JIRA tickets pertaining to bug fixes and feature implementations that required comprehensive understanding of the company’s tech stack using React in front end and Go in back end. She has also implemented a new feature in the company’s time and productivity desktop application for displaying all the recent release information, using customized Slackbot integration on Google Cloud Platform with a scalable, and serverless document database (Firestore), which is more accessible and convenient for customers to find all new app features in one location. Sruthi has a diverse education history, including a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from NIT Calicut and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. She has also completed her Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) from Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School, Kowdiar, Trivandrum.
